About

The Marlborough family, Estate staff and Blenheim Palace itself played a full and energetic part in the war effort.  This talk tells the story of how the Palace prepared for the worst, survived the onslaught of 400 boys evacuated to Blenheim and how they kept the secret of MI5.

Antonia Keaney, Blenheim Palace’s social historian, returns for the third year running to share her passion and unique knowledge of this historic estate. She has appeared on Radio 4’s Saturday Live, BBC’s Country File, Channel 4’s Phil Spencer’s Stately Homes, and Channel 5’s The Cotswolds with Pam Ayres.

Why not stay on for lunch at Ecgwin’s Club? Menu will be circulated to attendees ahead of the event for pre-ordering menu choices on the morning.
